Michael Stoeber
I am in Regis St. Michael's Faculty of Theology at the University of Toronto and cross-appointed to the Department for the Study of Religion at the U of T (status only).
My current academic research explores comparative issues in mysticism and the problem of evil, and topics on meditation, prayer, and yoga across religious traditions. It also studies intersections of spirituality and art.
I have been practicing and studying graphic art since the early 1990s, with much interest in expressive arts therapy and integrating art with my academic teaching. I have also been involved in art exhibitions related to interreligious dialogue and spirituality, as organiser, co-curator, and contributor. This website illustrates themes and topics of my:
